POWERCUT 4000 × 2500 Portal Plasma Cutter System

This 4000 x 2500 mm POWERCUT was commissioned for stainless steel parts used in large containers. The stated configuration combines a 200 A Thermal Dynamics plasma source with the Water Mist System.

Features

  • 2500mm X Stroke

    The bridge has 2,500 mm of stroke, providing a stated working area of up to 4,000 x 2,500 mm.

  • Thermal Dynamics Water mist

    The customer considered this system as an alternative to subcontracted laser work. CR PLASMA selected the Thermal Dynamics water mist process because the recorded stainless steel edge required less cleanup than the air-plasma process used for comparison.

  • CR PLASMA Controller

    The CR PLASMA controller runs on a passively cooled industrial Windows 10 PC. Listed operator functions include snap to position, snap to start, cut recovery, rip cutting, plate alignment, and laser-guided zero setting.
