POWERCUT Oxy Acetylene Cutting Machine

The CR PLASMA controller can manage an oxy-acetylene head and switch a dual-process machine between plasma and oxy-fuel cutting. Oxy-fuel is generally considered for thicker steel where the plasma power needed for the job would carry a higher installation and operating cost.

Specifications

OXY FUEL cutting head

The controller stores the gas-flow pressure and timing settings used by the oxy-fuel process.

Capacitive height Control

An optional capacitive sensor provides automatic height regulation while the oxy-fuel head is moving and cutting.

Twin process

One controller can operate two Z axes. The software selects the plasma or oxy-fuel Z axis according to the active cutting process.

Oxy-fuel cutting is commonly used for thicker steel when plasma is less suitable for the required edge or power demand. The examples below show an oxy-fuel system fitted to a CR PLASMA POWERCUT machine.
