Retrofit Services ESPRIT VIPER GAS Cutting

The Esprit Viper machine had an EDGE controller running CNC OXY Gas cutting. The controller had a variety of issues and the machine became unreliable.

CR PLASMA fitted a full retrofit to the machine updating the system with the following

• New Gas Cutting Torch

• New Gas Control Manifold

• New Pipes and solenoids and all fittings

• New Modern AC servo motors.

• News Homing Sensors

• New Cables

• New Controller

• The main XY Gantry

• Gearboxes racks and pinions on XY

CR- PLASMA - 25mm Plates CNC Gas cut

The ESPRIT VIPER was bought back to life wth a CR PLASMA Retrofit. The machine is shown here cutting 25mm plate with the new gas cutting system

The machine was fully refitted with new gas managment system and CNC controller.

Machine is now back in daily production

All you need are two bottles of Oxygen, 1 bottle of Propane and a three pin plug!

CR PLASMA Retrofit - Cutting 60mm plate

The video and images here show the CR PLASMA retrofit of the Esprit Viper machine succesfully piercing and cutting 60mm plate to manufacture a large washer. the CR PLASMA system has a very easy to use gas cutting interface

• Mangement of the preheat, pierce and cut heights

• Managent of the prehead pressures and times

• Management of dual stage Oxygen pierce moving from pierce to cut.
